What do I need to have?
All you need is a chair, and a mirror if you so desire.
Is it messy?
No. All HRS artists know that you want to keep your home, office or hotel clean. Every hair service is accommodated with a mat on the floor, so no hair, no color no mess ever reaches your clean floor.
How do I prepare for my service?
Please have clean, product free, dry hair upon our artists arrival.
How do I prepare for a makeup service?
Please have clean, makeup free skin when our artists arrives. This gives them a chance to see your skin in all of its natural beauty.
How much notice do I need to book an appointment?
24-hour notice helps, but is required for online reservations. It may be possible to accommodate same day reservations. Please contact HRS at 1.866.222.7566 for same day availabilities. We strive to be at your call.
Can I book an appointment without a credit card?
Currently we do not allow appointments to be booked without credit card / debit cards.
What if I am unable to book an appointment via email?
Not a problem. We are here to accommodate. Just give us a call at 1.866.222.7566 and press 3 for appointments.
What forms of payment do you accept?
HRS accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Cash. Sorry no checks.
Can I use multiple gift certificates at one time?
If you purchased or had your gift certificate purchased for you, then yes use as many as you like! We do not accept multiple gift certificates at one time, if your gift certificate was part of a promotion (our $25 gift certificates)
Is gratuity included in the service fee?
Gratuity is not included in your service fee.
Do you charge sales tax?
State law requires a 4.875% service tax on all service provided in New York. Applicable sales tax will be applied to all other good sold in the according state.
What is your cancellation policy?
HRS requires 24-hour notice for cancellations. Cancellations less than 24-hours will result in a 100% service charge. Weddings require a 48hour cancelation policy. Cancellations less than 48-hours will result in a 50% service charge.
what if I am running late to my appointment?
Our artist will wait up to 15 min at your location. If our artist is not able to provide your service due to previously scheduled appointments a full service will be charged. (deemed as a no-show)
What if I am unhappy with my service?
If you are unhappy with your service for a justifiable reason, you may re-book within 7 days for a redo. Anytime after 7 days will constitute a full charge.
Do your artist travel outside of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Orange County or Las Vegas?
Our artists travel to most areas of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Los Angeles, Orange County and Las Vegas. Artists can and will travel further, travel fees start at $25.
What products do your artists use?
Our artists use an array of products, if you have any allergies or require special products please let us know before booking your appointment. If you require special products our artists are highly trained and understand your requests. Our artists are experienced with all types of skin and hair. All appointments include a consultation upon arrival of the artists.
