Q: What do I need to have?
A: All you need is a chair, and a mirror if you so desire.
Q: Is it messy?
A: No. All HRS artists know that you want to keep your home, office or hotel clean. Every hair service is accommodated with a mat on the floor, so no hair, no color no mess ever reaches your clean floor.
Q: How do I prepare for a hair service?
A: Please have clean, product free, dry hair upon our artists arrival.
Q: How do I prepare for a makeup service?
A: Please have clean, makeup free skin when our artists arrives. This gives them a chance to see your skin in all of its natural beauty.
Q: How much notice do I need to book an appointment?
A: 24-hour notice is required for online reservations. It may be possible to accommodate same day reservations. Please contact HRS at 1.866.222.7566 for same day availabilities. We strive to be at your call.
Q: May I book an appointment without reserving on a credit card?
A: Currently we do not allow appointments to be booked without a 50% hold on credit card / debit cards. This prevents loss of wages from our artists in case of no shows and the like.
Q: What if I am unable to book an appointment online?
A: Not a problem. We are here to accommodate. Just give us a call at 1.866.222.7566 and press 3 for appointments.
Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
A: HRS accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express and Cash. Sorry no checks. All of our artists have the ability to process your credit card on site. We use Merchant Warehouse application and its secure transaction network.
Q: Is gratuity included in the service fee?
A: Gratuity is not included in your service fee. Gratuity is accepted in the form of cash only to our artists.
Q: Does HRS charge tax?
A: State law requires a 4.85% service tax on all service provided.
Q: What is your cancellation policy?
A: HRS requires 24-hour notice for cancellations. Cancellations less than 24-hours will result in a full service charge.
Q: What if I am running late?
A: If our artist is not able to provide your service due to previously scheduled appointments a full service will be charged. (deemed as a no-show)
Q: What if I am unhappy with my service?
A: If you are unhappy with your service for a justifiable reason, you may re-book within 7 days for a redo. Anytime after 7 days will constitute a full charge.
Q: What areas do your artists travel?
A: Our artists travel to all area of Manhattan and Brooklyn. For coverage outside of Manhattan or Brooklyn a travel fee starting at $150 will be added.
Q: What products do your artists use?
A: Our artists use an array of products, if you have any allergies or require special products please let us know before booking your appointment. If you require special products our artists are highly trained and understand your requests. Our artists are experienced with all types of skin and hair. All appointments include a consultation upon arrival of the artists. A: Our artists know how you feel. Working with celebrities every day, they bring that respect to you. All artists are required to sign a non disclosure agreement (nda) prior to working with HRS. You can view our Privacy Policy
